A star of hope
Esperanza
A star never stops shining, even if you don't see it during the day. A star shines in the darkness. A star provides orientation and shows the way.
Esperanza - a star of hope is a project that aims to give hope to children and parents who are going through dark moments of mental and physical health. Our vision is to bring light into the darkness, give orientation and hope and alleviate the burdens through small actions such as gifts, visits, conversations and prayers.
HELLO
We are the Londoño family
We are parents of three children and trained social workers and theologians. As parents, we were not spared moments of suffering, so we know the children's hospital, the intensive care unit, moments of fear, trust and compassion well. That's why it's very important to us to bring hope and give gifts to other families who are going through similar situations. We would like to listen to you with all our hearts, visit you if possible, connect you with other key people regarding help for siblings or go for a walk with you. If you wish, we would also be happy to pray for your child and your family.

WHAT WE BELIEVE
As you can read in our story, prayer has been the strength that has carried us through times of fear, sadness, pain and suffering. We believe and have often experienced it ourselves that God exists and still works miracles today. We are convinced that it is neither God's fault nor his intention that children suffer, become ill or even die. We also believe that God wants to give you comfort, hope and a miracle in your difficult situation. We believe that God is the source of all hope - just as we have experienced ourselves.
STORIES
Not only us, but many families before and after us have gone through difficult times in the intensive care unit or in the hospital. Let their stories encourage and inspire you!
